pinktee18
Just thought I would introduce myself I'm a 22 year old female in my last year of college majoring in social work. I have a mixed bag of diagnosis with ADD, anxiety, and what appears to be bipolar disorder diagnosed by my school's psychiatrist who was a bit of a nut since he was over worked and gave me too many different types of medication. My new psychiatrist doesn't like the label of bipolar disorder however and thinks I have borderline personality disorder instead but it doesn't explain the shifts in my moods and the rash decisions I make when not on medication. Sorry if that introduction was kind of confusing.

Sorry if that introduction was kind of confusing. Actually that does explain the constant mood swings and impulsiveness.. they are two of the big symptoms of BPD (Borderline personality disorder. It is so called because it's believed to be 'on the border' of psychosis and neurosis, although not in extremes. I've recently been diagnosed with it and have done a lot of research! There are heaps of websites with good info to help you understand it better Hope that helps a bit (:
