WinterMan Posted October 17, 2010 Share Posted October 17, 2010 Hello CB I’m WinterMan and I am a 20 year old guy living in the UK About 4 years ago I suffered what could only be described as a complete breakdown, I was diagnosed as your textbook depression and anxiety case, I was referred to a psych team and for me I finally felt like I was getting help. Unfortunately I was talked (read as guilt tripped) out of getting help by my parents and now four years on I have no idea what my state of mind has devolved into. Good grief have I lost it lately. And To be honest that’s why I am here, to find answers, vent A LOT and to meet people I can make friends with who wont run for the hills when all my crazy rears its ugly head Hope to see you all ‘round the boards. I hope you can find some help for your anxiety and depression(the same things I suffer from) because it's really hard to deal with on your own, as you probably already know. I hope I see you around! Lacey*rose Posted October 18, 2010 Share Posted October 18, 2010 Hi there!!! I'm in the U.K too!! Welcome. You'll find alot of helpful stuff on here :-). As for your parents, I have the same problem. I just put it down to the fact that they love me so much that their scared coz the first time in my life they can't 'fix' me. I know they mean well. Hello and Welcome to Crazyboards. I'm in the UK and may just be recovering from a fairly major breakdown.. (too soon to trust good days, yet, but I'm starting to get a few) And I can't run for the hills because I ran for the hills three years ago... yours from the edge of Bodmin Moor.
