notfred
If you don't trust your doctor, why do you continue to see him ? You are going to handicap your doc in giving you meds as he thinks you are still on this med. I do not see the point in seeing a doc if there is deception on the part of the patient. Come clean on this with your doc. If the side effects are too much, tell him or her. nf

Have you begun to associate the med with something bad (perhaps in itself an indication that a med adjustment is needed)? You really need to be honest with your p-doc about what is going on, and why. jarn
edit: I just looked at your other thread, even though you deleted your posts - is this the Abilify that you've stopped taking? From what I could see of quotes, you think there is something wrong with it (bug eggs?) - correct? You need to speak to your p-doc about this, as soon as possible. I think it is very unwise for you to not take your antipyschotic.

CrazyCatLady
Its seems that a med adjustment/change is in order. You need to be honest with your pdoc, this is important stuff. If you don't want to take that medication, maybe you can be switched to something else that you are more comfortable with.
notfred
Sorry you are having this trouble. Your doc can help make the bugs go away but you need to be honest with him. nf

I know it can be scary to do but I think that if you speak to your parents and your doctor about your issues with Abilify, you'll be able to address them as a team together and find something that works for you and doesn't have issues you feel Abilify does. confused
If you are afraid of the abilify you need a different anti-psychotic. Please don't try to cut anything out. I'm glad you are going to tell your mum you don't want to take it. Can you tell her why?

jarn
That's great - way to go! Sounds like you'll be able to talk to your p-doc about a medication you can be comfortable with.

jarn
I'm glad you're still taking one of your APs. I'm sure that you will be able to find something next time you see him - do you have an appointment scheduled?
