I am new. I'm Beks, an almost 28 yr old New York lawyer. I have bipolar type 2, OCD, ADHD, and a variety of other fun issues. I'm currently transitioning from Seraquel to Lithium, which isn't going that well. I grew up with a brother who is bipolar type 1 and a mother who probably is as well but denies everything and insists on treating things (like thyroid disease) homeopathically, based on the opinions of random stuff she finds online. My brother has always had a horrible time with meds and has been on pretty much everything under the sun. I was only diagnosed with everything last year, so I've only been on two drugs thus far, but it's been interesting. Hard to tell if something of them actually help or that's just me. bleh.

That is about where I am...And interesting would be my description choice as well.

Welcome.

Homeopathy. The fine art of treating stuff with really expensive water that once contained something else. Just as effective as a placebo! Doctors should really look into it :rolleyes: .
