Losing sleep and ADs

Recommended Posts

There's been a couple nights this week where I couldn't get any sleep whatsoever. I'm a bit worried about it since i'm already taking sleep aids.

Anyhow, it also feels like my AD stops working once this happens. Is that normal? I guess anyone's brain chemistry would go haywire with no sleep.

On a side note what's the strongest sleep aid out of these 4: Seroquel, Restoril, ativan, ambien

no sleep = feeling like crap, for most people

I find if my AD is working well, I can sleep ok. There are other things that can mess up sleep too, though. For instance, I use a CPAP machine to deal with my sleep apnea. Roads now have two yellow stripes again instead of 4! If this is a chronic sleep problem, consider a sleep study. At least if you think you can nod off with a head covered with wires and glue. (No shaving involved, though, you just have to wash the glue out of your hair the next day.)
