DKnight
There's been a couple nights this week where I couldn't get any sleep whatsoever. I'm a bit worried about it since i'm already taking sleep aids. Anyhow, it also feels like my AD stops working once this happens. Is that normal? I guess anyone's brain chemistry would go haywire with no sleep. On a side note what's the strongest sleep aid out of these 4: Seroquel, Restoril, ativan, ambien
ldo
no sleep = feeling like crap, for most people I find if my AD is working well, I can sleep ok. There are other things that can mess up sleep too, though. For instance, I use a CPAP machine to deal with my sleep apnea. Roads now have two yellow stripes again instead of 4! If this is a chronic sleep problem, consider a sleep study. At least if you think you can nod off with a head covered with wires and glue. (No shaving involved, though, you just have to wash the glue out of your hair the next day.)
notfred
You may have become tolerant to restoril's hypnotic effects. None of those meds is "stronger" that the others, it depends on the person. It also depends on what you mean by stronger. nf
