Brian
I end up with a massive headache. Why is that? I don't cry all that often. Over the last year my depression has gotten real bad with some ups and downs with meds. I welcome the times I do cry since I tend to feel worse when I don't cry and just feel depressed. But why do I end up with these horrible headaches? Anyone ever heard of that?
Anna
sometimes a big cry gives me a headache or it did, if I was holding it in. I kind of let my tears flow more naturally now.... Less headache. No ideao of teh biochemitry involved but maybe some kind of emotional release? Anna
SashaSue
I don't cry that often, but when I do, I tend to fully commit. Which means, there's a lot of crying. Afterwards, I often feel physically wretched, almost like a hangover. No idea why, but it sucks.

Cetkat
I'd go with Sinus headache. I assume you get all congested in your nose when you cry.. add pressure behind that and it can cause a headache. I don't get them when I cry, but it makes sense. One thing I like to do after crying is to use a Netti Pot to flush out my sinuses so I can breathe again. Perhaps that would help? Edit: Nice link
