Zoot
Hello Everyone, I am very new to all of this. I am on the bipolar spectrum, but I am milder than cyclothymic (working with therapist to determine 'where' I am). Does that lump me into bipolar nos? Or do I get a differently flavoured label? Any feedback would be helpful. Cheers, Zoot
ninetynine
I think anyone is welcome here. I have disthymic depression, so I'm not sure ... What I do hope is that you'll stay and get to know everyone and get something out of the experience. WELCOME!
The Emperor
Hi, Zoot. Welcome to CB! I don't know what your DX would be if it's milder than cyclothymia. I ask every now and then what my mood DX is because I don't know, and apparently, neither do they. They just say I have mood issues, like it says in my sig. I know it's slightly annoying to not know where you fall. But anyway, I hope you're at least getting decent treatment for whatever it is and that you feel well. Again, welcome to the boards! Anna
Welcome to cb, there isn't really a mood dx that's "milder than cyclothymia" I'd suggest asking your pdoc what your dx is.... Maybe some type of adjustment disorder? like others have said, the most important thing is that you are finding the right meds and treatment to effectively manage it, hope you are doing so.
