MorningDew
I have a bottle of doxylamine and I take some when I'm having trouble sleeping. I prefer it to diphenhydramine, because diphenhydramine causes me to wake up feeling depressed. It works the same way as diphenhydramine, so if you are tolerant to that one, doxylamine will probably not work any better.
olga
I use it from time to time and it works well for me. I have to remember to take it about an hour before bed time--other wise I feel dopey in the morning for a while. olga
olga
I didn't read your signature and I have to say that Dianthus is absolutely correct. olga
Aurochs
Tolerance to doxylamine builds within days, just as with diphenhydramine. There's also a potential for cross-tolerance. Really, doxylamine is best used for treatment of occasional insomnia or jet lag.
