shsu.2009
Hi, I was percribed vyvanse 30mg a couple of weeks ago and it worked well at first, but recently i had felt the medication fizzle out after a few hours. Should i ask my doc to up the dosage or should i see about switching to adderall? Thanks!
Velvet Elvis
Depends on how many hours is "a few." Some people find it necessary to take an additional short-acting stimulant to get through the day after Vyvanse wears off but it should still last at least 6-8 hours. You might try a higher dosage before jumping to a different stim automatically. 50 mg of Vyvanse helped me for a long time, but personally I prefer Adderall. Your mileage may vary, as with any medication.
