Sras
In the last week or so I seem to have developed a twitch in my left eyelid. It spasms around every few minutes and is really annoying me. I can settle it down by putting a bit of pressure on it (aka poking my eyelid) but it just comes back again. Has anyone else had this on Prozac? I'm on a low dose and I don't normally have a twitch. If not med related I'll just assume it's stress.
snugglepuss
I'd never developed a twitch from an SSDI before, but you'd probably want to tell your pdoc.
Emettman
Most commonly this is stress or fatigue-related., which leads to the wonderful (yes, I have actually seen this) "Try to cultivate a more relaxed lifestyle." Much more usefully, it can also point to slightly low potassium levels: drinking fresh tomato juice, or eating bananas for those who hate that idea, can produce an improvement quite quickly. Sras
Thank Chris. I've been refusing to buy bananas lately cos they're so expensive since the floods but I might have to try to get some.
The Emperor
I get them all the time when I'm stressed. I did have it on Prozac, but I don't think it was related to the drug. There was a six month stretch one time that I had the damn thing. It was REALLY annoying to try and put on make-up with that stupid fucking eye twitch. I hope yours goes away soon.
