dancesintherain
Does anyone remember the start up time for wellbutrinXL? I looked through a few pages for a post, but didn't see anything. I've been on it before, but can't remember.
netsavy006
What does "start up time" mean?
TheGreenRoom
Do you mean how long does it take to work? If I remember correctly, it took about a month for me to start feeling better on it. Effexor worked much quicker for me, but I had a head injury and react differently to meds than most people.
dancesintherain
Yeah, how much time it takes for the good effects to kick in (time to have them start working). Could have phrased it better.
olga
My doctor first had me on 150mg. of Wellbutrin, and after a week or two I started on the XL300. On the 4th morning that I took the full dose, I could feel the difference. I went outside and cut brush for three hours and it was like I woke up out of a coma. Speedy much? heh I think for most people it doesn't take effect that quickly. It has been great for me, and I hope it works for you. olga
Laume
Since we are starting it at the same time (hurrah!)...my pdoc and pharmacist both said 2 to 4 weeks.
Laume
Apparently, Wellbutrin has a quick effect, compared to some other ADs. No source for that, sorry.
