Still Crazy After All These Years

Hi All. I'm new here. Basically, I just need some help getting on with my life. I took an overdose on Monday and am here at my home this Thursday night. Gotta love insurance

I'm trying my best to keep going, but one day at a time is harder than I thought. I obviously suffer from depression. I have some new meds and an appointment to meet with a new doc on August 4th. There's a lot of time in between now and then. I'm worried. So, I thought I would try to write it out and get some other views.

SingLow, I'm glad you're here. I think it's really rotten when your insurance company has you discharged from the hospital before you're really ready to go home.

If you feel like you need to talk, go to our chat room. If they are gabbing about fun stuff they'll knock it off and talk to you about your depression. That's what we're here for.

Please contact a staff person if you don't understand something. I have lots of good friends here and I hope you meet people who share your interests and can help you through this tough time.

Welcome Glad to have you with us, but sorry that you are going through a rough patch. Hopefully you will be able to get some support here - this place has helped me through many a nasty episode.
