Arise111
I'm currently taking seroquel and clonazepam. Can any of these drugs cause hiccups? Just wondering because my doses were doubled.
AnneMarie
I haven't heard of that happening. I've never had a problem, either, but I have not been on high doses.
GrayEyes777
That's funny you should mention hiccuping - my husband insists I wake him up nearly every night with these deep hiccups. ??? I'm not taking the same drugs as you (Prozac, Trazodone and Xanax) - but it is kind of odd since I rarely used to get hiccups at all. I wonder if it's something I should mention to the pdoc? Never thought about it.
Reluctant Mom
I was on Nuzac (cheap cousin of Prozac I think) and had hiccups for 48 hours straight the weekend before last last .... I did not make the connection at the time. It eventually went away .... thank goodness. It started at a business dinner and I had one glass of wine .... I thought that is fab I look like the village drunk and the evening has not even got under way. I have no idea how it went away, I have no idea why it started ......but it felt never ending. <I have since changed meds, but it had nothing to do with the hiccups and I totally forgot about it until I saw this thread.....>
