I was here a long time ago...seems like forever.

I'm 37. Married for 12 years(how my husband has put up with me, I have no clue)

I am a stay at home mom to 3 1/2 year old twin boys.

I am diagnosed with Bipolar 2, OCD, Social and General Anxiety and Borderline.

I struggle with self harm a lot, irrational thinking, fear of abandonment. I push away friends who haven't pushed me away. I hate it all.

Out of the diagnoses I really struggle with Borderline the most.

I am on meds and in therapy. My therapist and I are about to start digging into DBT.

I thought DBT was all crap and had closed my mind off to it. After something happened this past Tuesday I decided I need to stop shutting my mind down, look at how many people it has helped and really dig into it.

Hi Dianna. I'm glad you joined again and I hope we can provide some information and support.

Several of our members have acquired some good coping skills from CBT, so I hope you can keep an open mind about it as you and your therapist work on it. I think everyone here agrees that meds alone aren't the answer with mental illness.

Let us know if you have a question about anything, and welcome!
