If a person with schiz has mania, typically their diagnosis would be changed to schizoaffective disorder.

What was actually said was:

Grossly disorganized or catatonic behavior (An abnormal condition variously characterized by stupor/innactivity, mania, and either rigidity or extreme flexibility of the limbs).

This is a poorly worded sentence. They are not saying that grossly disorganized or catatonic behavior is all about mania, but that mania can be one of the causes. So, you can have disorganized behavior or be catatonic and not be manic.

To be honest, I've never read of grossly disorganised or catatonic behaviour and mania being used in the same sentence? So I wonder where that site found their definition.
