resonance
Most of what I've read on this forum about Abilify involves bad experiences so I thought I would start a thread to record positive experiences. I've found that my 15 mg Abilify helps with the severe anxiety and agitation I get as part of hypomania. I needed some extra help from Lamictal and Klonopin to get it all under control, though. I have one noticeable negative side effect from the Abilify: it draws my forearms up, giving me "Barbie arms" unless I relax them. At the same time, this muscle tension keeps my back from hurting (oddly enough), so there's a bit of a trade.
tigrre
Oh okay a positive. I did have no side effects whatsoever. Actually no effects of any kind...
cee
With regard to abilify, I've had huge positive effects at 15mg. No longer do I go into irrational fits of rage at the slightest provocation. I don't feel sedated or drugged up, just a whole lot more level-headed when confronted with situations that would usually set me off. Definitely a good pill in my book. blackbird
Well I can say that I have had no negative side effects at 30mgs apart from a mild headache a while back. But on the negative side its not doing enough for my psychosis as I would like it to do... But i would say its the best of a bad bunch.
solstar
I take a very small dose but it works ok for me. Barbie arms eh? I notice I get a nervous tremble every once in a while since starting it but only if nervous and it is in my arms.
