Can Ambien worsen repetitive behavior?

I have a hard time falling asleep and have been given Ambien but one thing I noticed and not sure if this is coincidental or not, is that my OCD-type behaviors are much worse (I pick my skin/scalp) . Is this just a coincidence or did a lightbulb just go off? lol
