Beetzart
I am on NRT and have been for about 2 months, taking the lozenges. Also been on 150 mg of venlafaxine for over 2 weeks, but in the last few days I have lost all nicotine cravings. The lozenges make me feel sick and I have thrown them away, not the slightest bit of interest in taking them. Could venlafaxine be responsible for this? I know it effects norepinephrine at 150 mg and zyban also effects this, so could there be a link or is my body just fed up with nicotine? I find that unlikely as I heard nicotine was one the most addictive drugs known and I have been smoking for over 15 years, heavily at times. Surely there is some, maybe tenuous link? Anna
I don't know the answer but run with it, dude. And also, don't restart, thinking it will be as easy to quit with this med (if it's the med) next time. Sometimes it isn't. Good luck!
