~nestling~
thank you I slept well, I did wake up a few times---once just cos I needed the bathroom, and another time cos I woke up from shouting out loud in one of the most intense heavy dreams...though I feel better for having got these dreams 'out of my system'.... (like a midnight therapy session lol!) definitely no midnight munchies..... and I got up on time this morning and feel relatively alert and fairly mellow! rein
Ohh the best part of taking Remeron is definately the dreams! I have been on it for about a year now and I still get the good dreams..I still get the munchies too unfortunatly.. As far as when to take it. I would suggest 1-2 hours before you plan to go to bed. It only makes me drowsy and if I stay up past the 2 hours after I take it I sometimes have a bit of a hard time getting to sleep. Same as it ever was. One of the reasons I was put on this med was because of the insomnia(not to mention the whole wanting to jump off the Hundv
~nestling~
hey, thanks.....its continuing to work really great....of the 2 nights out of the 4 so far I've been taking it I've slept right through from around 11pm to 5 am....then slept again until time to get up.... THIS IS A MIRACLE!!!!!!! Not even heard of with Zopiclone! I have always always always woken up about 5 times in the night, and have never settled properly to sleep, in, like YEARS!!!!! And the dreams....my own nighttime movie every night....thank goodness I'm not religiously writing out all my dreams any more, I'd be all day! It keeps my therapist happy lol! It seems best for me to take it about half an hour to 45 minutes before bed, as I gradually feel the sedation flow through me, I have to give in to it. critical_reflection
You sound like me! I loved Remeron when I was on it. Watch out though- it can definitely cause you to oversleep. The dreams are cool but incredibly wacky... I got annoyed in the end because I couldn't make any sense of them. Hope it works out for oyu.
~nestling~
thanks, yep, its great....luckially I've been working with my dreams for over 10 years, so the extra contact with my unconscious is wondrous, though last nights dream was rather unsettling!
