Koloth
I'm new to the boards but I have been reading as a guest for quite a few weeks. I'm 27 In October 2010, I was suffering from depression and was prescribed Lexapro. Unfortunately, rather than removing the depression it just made me less anxious to commit suicide which I attempted. I ended up in hospital but was discharged after a few days and told to stop the Lexapro. In January 2011, I then had a complete breakdown. I barricaded myself indoors and took an overdose. The police broke in, after Pepper spraying me took me to hospital. I then spent three weeks in hospital and was put on 120mg Cymbalta. I then started to keep a journal of my life and shared and shared it with my Pdoc at which point prescribed me 7.5mg of Zyprexa for psychosis. The Zyprexa made me put on weight so I I then tried Risperidone which made me feel drunk like (it was nice being so buzzy though). I then went on 100mg of Zeldox (Geodon) but was still paranoid. I then had another breakdown so I went back to hospital for four weeks and we changed my medication to Pristiq and Abilify. I seem to be what I would describe as stable since then but I still suffer a lot of anxiety. Who knows what the the future shall bring.
