Hi, just joined and love this site. I've been battling depression my whole life , as has my husband. Teen daughter is now. My oldest brother is schizophrenic as was I'm sure my father. hell, we're all nuts around here.' Cept the cat , shes pretty normal. My daughter is trying her third med. Now wellbutrin, hoefully this is good news. I'm curious what others thing. I read Daniel Amens books and thought they sounded credible. My daughters doc today said he's a quack and its a scam. Just wondering if people have had exsperince with this. All for now...Nice to be in the bin.

hi and welcome to the boards.

i have depression too. i've read the amen books and found them really interesting. i didn't know that there was some issue with his credibility. i liked the thought that someone could scan my brain and say 'this person has depression and an anxiety disorder' even without knowing me.
