Fiona
i am taking klonopin, seroquel, and amitriptyline. are these drugs good for hearing voices, anxiety, and depression <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, they should be. Seroquel is an anti-psychotic, which should help the voices part. It's also good for "background anxiety," so that should help your anxiety problem too. klonopin is an anti-anxiety med, so that obviously will help with the anxiety. It's short-acting so it's the kind of thing you can take for more immediate relief as well as over the day. amitriptyline is an anti-depressant, so you have something in the mix for depression as well. If you want to know about combined side effects, you should look at the drug interaction checkers. There are several posted at the top of this group. DionneDesReves
Short Answer: Yes. Long(er) Answer: Klonopin Strong benzo, fabulous for easing anxiety and acting as a mood stabilizer for those of us who are bipolar. Seroquel Great antipsychotic that will make you mad tired and end those pesky voices telling you that you have undercovered the physics of the universe in your morning crossword. You may also get crazy carb cravings, leading to weight gain. Amitriptyline A tricyclic antidepressant used for psychotic and agitated (anxiety-ridden) depressions especially. Again with the tiredness and weight gain. Bottom line: looks like you're on these meds for a reason. Hope that info helps.
