I'm female, from UK, diagnosed with Bipolar Type 2 but as the Verve once sang "The Drugs Don't Work" as the past week has been blighted by suicidal thoughts. I hope to hang out here lots, make chums, help others, and make sense of all this kerfuffle. I'm not sure what else to say...I've just written a novel, I love wine and I go weak at the knees in perfume stores.

So hello!

Hello Miss Muse!! I'm a neighbour of yours (from Ireland). welcome to CrazyBoards!! Hope you like it here. It's a very supportive, encouraging and friendly community. I also have Bipolar and for quite a while the Drugs didn't work for me either, in fact I used to go around singing that song by The Verve when I was manic and drove my mother crazy!! But thankfully I've found a good combo which works well for me and I've been stable since May 2011. Hopefully you will find the right combo of medications for you too!

Thanks for your kind welcomes all of you. I reckon this forum will be a bit of a God send to be honest. Nice to know you're not alone and all that. I hate bothering family and friends with all this, its not fair. Rowntree, glad you are stable and found right meds combo. I'm on lithium 800mg which I expect to be increased next weel after blood results.

Thanks again and have nice night!

Hello and welcome. (also from the UK)

and make sense of all this kerfuffle.

Ah, you may be a step ahead of me, there.

I've got as far as working out, quite tidily, *why* it doesn't make sense, much of the time, but am finding anything more very slow progress.

Scatter cushions: what are they all about?

Chris.
