Guest
http://www.health.gov.au/internet/main/publishing.nsf/Content/6492DD993415E081CA2578C20080FB23/$File/Sertindole%20SERDOLECT%20lundback%205-6%202011-03%20PSD%20FINAL.pdf Date of PBAC Consideration: March 2011 Sertindole was TGA registered on 6 July 2010 for the treatment of schizophrenia blah blah blah The PBAC therefore rejected the submission, on the basis of uncertain clinical need, and concerns regarding relative efficacy, cardiovascular adverse effects and potential drug interactions. So they asked for PBS approval in july 2010, Were considered and denied in March 2011. You can get it, if your pharmacy is willing to order it in for you, There may be some wait time on that though. It might be worth reading through that PDF just to get all the clinical trials they used. It also explains why the drug was denied.
