blackbird
I understand totally how you feel, I was always a naturally thin person until I took ADs and APs and put on a vast amount of weight in a very short period which of course everyone treated as a huge joke. I have managed to lose the weight through atkins (which nearly ruined my kidneys) and sustain my weight loss through purging which has led to me developing full-on bulimia. The medications also gave me psoriasis, my mother thinks its funny to sit and chortle about "the days when you were fat and covered in psoriasis", if only she knew how I am managing to keep the weight off! Anyway, congratulations on losing the weight Devon00, and I hope your self image improves soon.
zomby
I think everybody would have issues under similar circumstances but Devon theres no reason to be ashamed cause it's not your fault right? Like it or not society makes us feel ashamed about our body issues. We are trained as sprouts to make fun of others and be made fun of if we are unlucky. The truly lucky are those who can rise above all of it but how they do it I don't know. Blackbird I saw somebody said that topamax really helped with their bulemia and I looked it up and it's the top rated drug remedy at remedyfind so you might want to look at that if you haven't seen it. http://www.remedyfind.com/hc-eating-disorders-bulimia.asp
