emplumada43
Hi, Been on Latuda for about 6 weeks along with Cymbalta, Lexapro and Adderall for MDD. I feel much better, my mood has been more even though I do seem to have a "shorter fuse." Other main effect I've noticed is complete lack of sex drive, even more so than usual. Is this normal of antipschotics or Latuda in general? Thank you, E.
jt07
What makes you think that it is the Latuda? When did you start the other drugs in your cocktail? I ask because Celexa (practically the same as Lexapro) killed my libido. You are on a number of meds that can affect libido. As for antipsychotics, I take Abilify which, if anything, has helped my libido.
Banana Smurf
I take Latuda and have taken other antipsychotics, and I have noticed little effect on my libido. Side effects do very a lot, though, so I have no idea if other people would lose libido on them.
rabies1313
while on Latuda my sex drive went up. so yeah, maybe it's the other stuff?
dreadOHdreads
I feel like my libido has shot through the roof since getting of Seroquel and getting on LAtuda,
koali777
Wellbutrin is what brought my sex drive back hardcore and then some, but Latuda certainly hasn't ruined it. If anything, I'm just sometimes too tired to have sex.
kopo002
I take 80mg Latuda and I have normal sex drive. Wellbutrin increased my sex drive.
browri
I would more readily point my finger at the Cymbalta and Lexapro than at the Latuda. I personally don't recall sexual dysfunction across a range of 10-80mg while I was taking it. But like @koali777 said, I still did have issues from time to time because I was actually too tired to have sex or not motivated to "self-please". But it wasn't really a libido issue. If I genuinely wanted to, everything functioned as it should. Note that I am male and sexual dysfunction can manifest differently between genders. For example, Trintellix has a very low rate of sexual dysfunction compared to other antidepressants, but those who did report sexual dysfunction were predominantly men, not women.
