Changing your user ID

I have 2 accounts here. I'd like to use the one with my primary email address (not this account), but my username includes personal information. Is there anyway you can change this username?

It would probably be easier for you to change the email address, because you can do that yourself. Click your username in the top right, then "my settings", then "email" and you should be able to change your email. Does it let you do that?

If you need a username changed you would have to PM one of the administrators, and they try to avoid it if there is another possible solution.

Unfortunately, no. I can't change the email address because it is already in use. The only thing I could do is add a third email.

Have you tried changing the email on the other account to something else, and then trying to use that email on this account? Twisted, but it might work.

Anyway, if you need a name change, just PM one of the admins. In cases where it's a privacy issue, they are quite happy to make the change.
