celestia
I'm experimenting with best time to take Cymbalta, as I'm new on the drug. Wanted to find out when the rest of you are taking it for max benefit.
Skummy
I'm experimenting with best time to take Cymbalta, as I'm new on the drug. Wanted to find out when the rest of you are taking it for max benefit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> New to Cymbalta as well, I'm taking in the morning with my coffee and cereal. Nothing to scream about yet. Only the sixth day though at 30mg. My side effects have been mild compared to Wellbutrin and Efexor. I'm happy about that.
Bianca
I think taking it in the am is the best time. Some individuals on here have taken it at night but I think they've been on it for more than 6 months now. This is the beginning of my 9th week LOL
Kris
I try to take in the am as soon as I can. I'm on about 4 1/2 months now at 60 mg. Sometimes I think it may be too much for my system tho, seems like I've got brain fog. Good luck with it.
kthreekids
First thing in the am before bfast. I am only on week three but it seems to be ok! Kelley
Sunshine
I didn't vote because I don't have any personal comparitive experience. I've only ever taken it in the morning (for almost a year). It's more effective when taken in the morning (I don't think anyone knows for sure why, but I think it's even in the PI sheets).
Velvet Elvis
If it doesn't make you sleepy, you might get a bit more of a norepenephrine boost by taking it in the AM. If it makes you sleepy, take it at night. There is no difference between taking it in the AM and at lunch. While not as short as Effexor, it still has a fairly short halflife. Regardless of when you take it, you need to be consistent.
