Beetzart
My Pdoc put me on this conbination (well added Mirtazapine) two weeks ago. At first I was moody, irritable but the other day everything seemed, well great. They say that mirtazapine is very fast acting and I can vouch for that. I am sleeping very well, and suffer no fatigue during the day, it also feels quite speedy. I am only on low doses but so far so good. Has anyone else tried this? williamockham
Yeah, tried it; unfortunately didn't work for me in the end. Also tried "Limerick Rocket Fuel"--up to 90 mirtaz/180 cymbalta. Have to say, though, that it was better SE-wise than the effexor/cymbalta alone. Good Luck.
y58
I took Ca rocket fuel (wellbutrin, effexor, and mirtazapine) for I think 11 years. My pdoc is taking me off it now because he thinks the nature of my problems functioning comes from negative symptoms of Sz, not depression so much, and the roket fuel hasn't helped the negative sx. chimpmaster
I cant vouch for the other meds you are on, but I too am on mirtazapine (30mg, a few months in). Its a really good anti-depressant. Better side effect profile than ssris, also probably more effective for most people (for nme anyway).
Pamito
I've been on the rocket fuel for 7 years and I love it! I was unrelentingly depressed for 10 years before, no matter which anti-dep I took. It's been a godsend for me, but everyone reacts differently. What works for me may not work for others.

I'd love to give it a shot, but Remeron has left me starving every waking hour. I cannot function when the hunger is so distracting. Don't know how you all deal with it. scatty
I am on a zoloft/remeron combo. It's worked for my depression and anxiety. I haven't gotten the munchies either. Thankfully!
