wj74
Sometimes when I take my Seroquel and it hits me earlier for some reason, I will have a lightheaded spell, along with nausea. If I don't go lay down it gets worse and I have to literally crawl to the bedroom. This only happens occasionally, could have been from my recent doubling the dose... anyone else have this? rowan77
Yes, I had that a LOT when I started Seroquel. I had postural hypotension and my heart rate would become very rapid, I would go deathly white, feel nauseous and dizzy and would have to lie down. I used to get this the morning after taking the Seroquel the night before, and it happened more so when I had a dose increase. Once I got to 400mg XR and stayed at that dose for a while it stopped happening.
enlightened_plutonian
I've had a couple of dizzy spells over the last year or so, but don't know the cause. I've never bothered to check it out seeing as it is very occasional and can be managed easily enough by me going back to bed. When I get up later on I always feel better. They are always first thing in the morning. But I did find that when I first went on Seroquel I on the first few days found that if I got out of bed in the morning I would have to go right back to bed or I would collapse from dizziness. Going to the kitchen to make breakfast was just too much. It was horrible. So I guess it is plausible that a dose change could have a similar effect. somementill
I had a few light headed spells, probably from hypotension to the point where I felt I was about to faint. I also had random spells where my body would go cold and I would start breathing heavily and get a cold sweat. I wonder if that is blood sugar related. wj74
I do feel cold, like the blood has drained from my head and I start breathing fast, I guess to compensate. I guess it was from the dose increase because it hasn't happened in a week or so.
