Tez
Hi everyone Lovely to be a member I have been taking 2.5mg Zyprexa nightly for 2 years to help with depression/anxiety. I feel well enough to come off them. Last time I tried, I went cold turkey and BIG mistake. This time I am tapering really slowly. This is day 9 and today I have developed the brain and body zaps. I really want to see this thru but they so freak me out. I have the ok from Pdoc to taper and I have been going full, full, half, full, full, half, full, full, half ...zaps! I am only on a tiny dose but I am very sensitive to meds. Just hoping someone might be able to offer up some positive advice or suggestions. Does this last for long? Many thanks...... rowan77
Can't help you with that as I didn't get brain zaps when I went off Zyprexa, and don't know much about it...Sorry!! But I just wanted to say "Hi and Welcome to CrazyBoards!!!"
The Emperor
Yeah, I wish I could help with the brain zaps thing too, but I've never personally experienced that. I am, however usually part of the welcoming committee. So Welcome to CB! I hope you like it here!
