tryp
Does anyone know what I can do about this? It is really irritating. Instead of playing my audiobook files vertically down in order, it plays them in reverse order and I can't figure out how to make it stop. It's not on shuffle or anything... Indigo 'n dye
Are you finding hidden messages as your books play backwards? I can remember trying to play some Beatles song backwards as it was suppose to contain a secret message. Opps, completely irrelevant and I am not even sure what iTunes is. gizmo
Have you tried removing g the books from iTunes and readding then in order? I read ebooks on my iPhone, so I'm not too good with audiobooks. Are they in a mp3 playlist? Perhaps you can resort the files by name again and try to resync. I've had to do this with mp3s before.
Velvet Elvis
if you're on windows, try foobar2000. It's much more lightweight and configuruable than itunes, unless you need itunes for DRM purposes. http://www.foobar2000.org/
Wooster
tryp, are you by chance uploading your audio books as podcasts? I had a similar mystery when I put podcasts of books (from the uber cool, uber free librivox.org) on my ipod because I had an auto setting to upload the "10 most recent unplayed podcasts" that got applied to all podcasts until I changed it for the individual audio boods. Soes that even make sense?
