melissaw72
I was on Clozaril for a few weeks. After I was on it, it wasn't helping and I was gaining weight, and stopped sleeping all night (I sleep a couple hours at a time during the day). Before the clozaril I had no problems with these things. It was like the clozaril 're-wired' my brain to do the opposite. Because the 2 things that changed after I started it was the increased eating and irratic sleep. And now being off of it these side effects never went away. Anyone else have this happen to them? I was very sedated with it too. I wasn't on it long enough to see if any side effects like that went away. One reason I stopped it was because it caused my WBC to go to almost nothing (Clozaril is known for affecting the immune system in a bad way). melissaw72
i pretty much had no choice since its supposed to help so much with suicidal thinking. It didn't help with suicidal thinking. In fact it didn't affect me at all, except with unwanted side effects that didn't go away.
