waypills666
I'm 100%. no more schizophrenia symptoms. No more voices. No more paranoia. I feel no happiness, no depression, no anxiety. I've tried everything. Typicals, atypicals. The drug that has made me like this is seroquel xr.
Guest
Some thoughts: Yes, AP's can cause a flat affect. It's just part and parcel of the treatment, albeit a d very difficult one and one we shouldn't have to tolerate unless we're talking survival here. Some AP's can be very different in this side effect. Risperdal is great for me, Seroquel and Zyprexa turned me into a zombie. Have you tried a couple to see if any are better for you?Schizophrenia is very tough on your mind. It's normal to feel somewhat flat while your mind recovers and you get used to the drug. Often, emotion returns when you're out of the woods with your psychosis and your brain has settled. My psychosis was exhilarating and terrifying. It's normal for life to feel dull and boring for a while once you get well. Maybe this is partly what is going on?
koali777
I agree. My life was just a crazy chain of events, terribly stressful and scary, and a lot was going on. When I got better at first, I felt nothing, but then I realized I was feeling something normal again.
