I've been on adderall for one week. So far the only one I've noticed is a brain that just feels numb. I'm exhausted also at night but I've been gardening all week so I would be anyway with or without the comedown.

When I was trialling a very low dose of Concerta, which is an extended release stimulant, I only noticed that on the days I forgot it my brainfog was noticeably worse, not by a huge amount but noticeable.

I am starting a new trial of IR Ritalin tomorrow, so I will come back to this thread after a week or two.

I can have anxiety flare ups after. I can feel tired, I can feel hungry. If I don't keep up with drinking water or eating I can get a headache. Still tinkering with dosing and whatnot. Also I'm on a generic methylphenidate XR (generic Concerta yay!) and supplementing with IR for now but I think we'll be trying afternoon doses of the XR eventually.

Mmm, to update:

My come down effects from XR/generic concerta are pretty much a gradual return of symptoms. If I haven't been eating or drinking enough, it can be worse, maybe a headache.

IR comedowns are harsher. When I wrote the above post I'd only been doing the 2x 27mg XR in the morning for a few days. Also, I'd done 1x 27mg XR in the morning for about three weeks before that. Methinks I have adjusted to the comedown effects from my XR, as the IR's are comparatively better than they have been previously yet they are still worse than the XR's.

But yeah, usually just a gradual return of symptoms now.
