Anyone on abilify noticed its effects decreasing after adding anticholinergic?

Drug interaction checkers do say that anticholinergics can reduce the plasma levels of abilify. But Im wondering to what extent? When I was on an anticholinergic I experienced no noticeable effects from abilify. Now Im trying it the third time and hoping it will work as I am off anticholinergics.

Any info on the combination of these 2 is appreciated.

I've taken the combination and never noticed any change at all in how Abilify worked for me. For me, Abilify is a rather subtle med. It takes about a week for it to start working and even then, it sort of sneaks up on me. I'll just notice that I feel better. Other than the weight thing, I've never had any SE from Abilify with or without other anticholinergic meds.

I was on abilify four times, twice on cogentin/artane, and twice without it (stopped before I had the chance to start it). I didn't notice either way particularly more effective for me. They both worked about the same. As sylvan said, it's a subtle med - I didn't feel better right away on it, it was more of a slow improvement to a medium stability level. If finally just be proved to be more negative than positive for my case.

Thanks for the info. I consider that my disease might have worsened since the first time I was on abilify. Also I quit 80mg ziprasidone cold turkey, so that could have temporarily brought on a semi-psychotic state (I went back on it after a few days). And I have a physical side effect with abilify which is treatable and it was there the 2nd time I was on it and probably will be the third time now, so that might be an indication that it works. All I need is an add-on to my seroquel right now. Although if it works good i Might quit seroquel. Well see.

What I noticed was a really decrease on my libido with Abilify + Akineton, but that's it.
