koali777
And I mean consistently, without a few weeks or months break here and there. I know it's been out what, less than 2 years? But I'm just wondering if anyone has noticed any strange long-term side effects, or if it dies out, etc. I'm not necessarily paranoid about it having unknown long-term effects, but it IS a new drug so they have no idea yet what it may do. I'm guessing everyone will say it's okay, but I also want to know if it works a long time too. I don't really ever want to change my antipsychotic now. PS Long term is relative I suppose...I just meant the 2 years vs. a few months
LexFlex
I'm worried about that too koali777. I don't know where I heard it, but what meds do u know have long term effects?
koali777
I have heard people complain about Paxil and pregnancy, but I don't know from experience or from any reliable source. And you know, they have those commercials where a lawyer is saying, "If you've experienced (such and such horrible long term side effect) from (some medication), call now and get compensated." I have no sources or anything though...so I can't think of any off hand. Well and we know that antipsychotics can cause tardive dyskenisia, but I just don't want Latuda to mess up my heart or something weird, in a decade.
