Prplchknz
let me start with i honestly don't know if my dx is correct but i'm prescribed 30mg of ablify at night and than 40mg latuda in the morning. I just started to latuda and so far i've thrown it up twice or 50% of the time from severe stomach cramps. also i dunno if i threw it up before it could take effect but is hearing muttering a side effect of the two being combined? so anyways not my question, my question are what intereactions should i look for between the two drugs? dreadOHdreads
When I was taking Latuda I noticed that I got really nauseous when it hit my stomach. I would usually have to sit in my recliner and be still for about 30 min or until it eased up. You're taking it with at least 350 calories right? I didn't take Abilify and Latuda at the same time so I can't say anything about interactions, but I do know Latuda wasn't too easy on my stomach. Prplchknz
i'm taking it with breakfast, dunno if it's 350 or not. yesterday day i had an egg sandwhich and was able to keep it down maybe i'll eat one of those tomorrow
Guest
You need to watch your calories with Latuda. I believe 350 is the minimum. See if that will make a difference. Your Abilify is a healthy dose. Your current amount of Latuda is pretty standard for a starting dose. Are you planning on staying on both these meds? Why did the pdoc add Latuda? Are you still having symptoms?

Jen78
Im on 80mg of latua and the sick feeling went away after a couple weeks. It was very annoying at first but I never actually vomited on it. I take mine with dinner so I know im getting at least the right amount of calories I need
Prplchknz
thanks the sick feeling has gone away as long as i eat enough food with it. also i read that ablify and latuda had moderate combination risk but don't know what to look for, oh well i'll ask my pdoc monday. Prplchknz
also, I'm still having minor break through symptoms, just bugs crawling on me and muttering, whirring, and occasionally a voice speaking gibberish
