How to stop mess from "melting"

Recommended Posts

In Australia the majority of our mess come packed in little pop out foil or plastic sheets. Anyways, I have trouble remembering to take my mess and my GP told me he would not be my doctor anymore if I didn't start remembering more often.

So I got a pill box and carefully sorted out my pills into the appropriate days and times, does work for remembering however the enteric coated pills melt. Even when kept out of a moist or warm environment, does anyone know how I can stop this from happening because I need the pill box to remember so I need to be able to take the pills out of their packaging to put in the pill box.

Sorry if this doesn't make much sense.

I'm not sure I understand what "mess" is. Is that slang for medications, I'm assuming?

Are the pills still in the foil/sheet also melting? If not, then cut around the bubble while still maintaining the integrity of the bubble and store them in the pill box that way. Then just pop them out when it is time to take them.

I meant to say meds but couldn't figure out how to edit it. I take sodium valproate which has a purple enteric coating and I keep them in the same place as the ones in the packaging and the ones in the packaging don't melt but when I talked to the pharmacist he was the one that gave me the pill box and told me to do it that way... I'm so confused and sick of scooping purple mush out of the pill box. I don't think it is a bad batch because its happened with different batches, I guess I'll have to go back to pharmacist and ask about it. Thanks for replies.

I don't know what the package looks like, but can you separate them, but leave the pills still in the foil, and then put the cut out foil packets into the pill box? I'm not sure if they're sectioned off or not, but that was what came to mind as a solution.
