Hi, I'm new here and a bit nervous. I've recently come to terms with the fact that I exhibit most of the symptoms for C-PTSD and BPD and that I've been suffering from these at least all my adult life. It's still hard for me to say 'I'm BPD' and I haven't been formally diagnosed so I'm at the start of my healing. I want to be a normal person. At least to be kind to the people I love. That would be normal enough.

Your personality disorder forum has been really helpful to read over and it's really good for me to see people talking freely about bpd like it's the illness it is.

I want to get better.

Welcome to Crazyboards.  Please read the rules if you haven't done so already.

I hope you are planning to make an appointment with a psychiatrist for an evaluation.  Although everyone does a certain amount of self-diagnosing, it's important to put together a treatment team if you truly want to cope with your MI.

I'm glad you found us and I hope you like it here.
