neingesicht
So I figured that when I got off Zyprexa that I would be more awake, not able to sleep. But for some reason all I can do is sleep. I am so tired it's driving me crazy. I have no other ill effects, and would just like this to "wear off" but I can't be sure that it's not some TSH thing with my thyroid, but I can't get in to se a doctor for a bit. Has anyone else had any issues after getting off Zyprexa where they were tired for an extended period? It's been 5 days now and I've already missed a bunch of work. Thanks again, n
Guest
How long have you been on the Klonopin? Could it possibly be this that is causing you to be tired? It really isn't likely that it is the lack of Zyprexa that is making you tired. Zyprexa does have a rather long half-life so you've most likely still have quite a bit of it in you. Give it another week and see if you don't start to become less tired.
neingesicht
Thanks sylvan... I've been on klonopin for almost ten years. I don't know if its that. Its very odd because all I've ever read I should be wired. Oh well just have to wait it out.
neingesicht
So its been two and a half weeks and I'm still more tired than with zyprexa. Its aggravating to say the least. I know I need to give it time but I'm frustrated. Is there any possibility that having both latuda and zyprexa in me and then removing zyprexa that only now the latuda is making me tired? I'm not trying to rant I'm just at my wits end trying to work and lead a full life.
Guest
You know, it could be Latuda that is making you tired. I know that drowsiness is a side effect of Latuda. How long have you been taking it? I would imagine that if the drowsiness you're experiencing is from Latuda, it would get better with time. When are you taking Latuda? You are taking it with a 350 calorie meal, right? Could you change the time of day that you're taking it? It might be rough taking it right after dinner but that might be your best bet. You wouldn't be much use in the evening if it hits you quickly but I'd imagine that eventually this side effect will get better so maybe a few weeks of going to bed early would be worth it if Latuda is controlling your symptoms. neingesicht
Sorry I never got back to you. It's been an interesting few weeks. I do take Latuda with a meal (Ensure, if that helps anyone about the liquid question) but I wanted to write back and say that I've been able to get up at 6:45 and go to bed around 10 every day this week, so I think I'm in the clear. I guess I just needed to be patient. Thanks for trying to work it out with me.
