lysergia
i'm doing another trial run of melatonin this week. if that fails, pdoc wants to try chloral hydrate (between past failures and MAOI interactions, we're sort of running out of options). is anyone here taking chloral hydrate for sleep? i read some older posts, but none from anyone taking it on a longer term than a week, or they were from folks who discontinued the drug. specifically, my problem is not being able to fall asleep, then having trouble waking (a delayed sleep phase/sleep phase shift kind of thing). Guest
I don't take it currently but I'm betting it will come as no surprise to you that I have. I took it for months and months. Actually, I didn't know they still made it. It worked for me. Hope it does for you.
lysergia
you're right syl, it doesn't surprise me at all thanks for letting me know it worked for you. i'm assuming they still make it here in Canada, or pdoc wouldn't have suggested it. it's probably one more med that my pharmacy will have to order in, though... just like my parnate and sulindac, nobody else seems to take them anymore either!
