heavendj4
Before mirtazapine I couldn't sleep and now I sleep like a baby. Thank you. Unfortunately I feel sleepy for most of the day, not really a bad thing the way things are going... I feel spaced out if u know what I mean. Still have anxiety. I'm on 30mg. Will the drowsiness go away? and how about this spacey feeling?
bluelikejazz
I found the drowsiness got better, especially when I raised to the dose to 30mg. I didn't have the spaceyness feeling so I can't help you out there.
Sparkle
For me, the drowsiness went away in the first couple of months. I do need a good night's sleep after taking it, though, or else I find it hard to get up. I only get spacy about an hour after I take it, which is fine, because then I just go to sleep. I doubt the spaciness will last long, but everyone responds differently.
dtac
I used it as an AD and sleep aid for 2 years. The sedation never went away, but that was a good thing for me lol. However, I did need 6-8h of sleep to keep from feeling hungover the next morning.
valentina
Unfortunately I was too sleepy with it, try keeping a diary and take note of when you take it (should ideally be taken before bed) and your energy throughout the day so for example: Took mirtaz @ 9pm Woke up @ 7am Energy neutral @ 10am Energy dipped @ 2pm Felt very sleepy @ 3pm Etc etc It kind of helped me to gauge when I should take it , little energy pep snacks like almonds and something protein based are good for warding off the mugginess NOT CAFFIENNE I was such a bloody fiend for red bull and it just makes stuff so difficult. I don't really have too much trouble with sleeping so I opted for a different med, I really wish you all the best on this one take care x
