sonicwhite
So my doc up'd my effexor xr to 150 and man, almost in like a hour I had this almost like I took alot of gabapentin type high. I'm kinda out of the pit of depression but I'm curious as to why 37.5 did nothing and this is impacted my life in a positive way.
deeschmee
When I went up to 150 of Effexor I was out of control panicky. Are you comfortable with this feeling?
sonicwhite
it's okay....I mean like it lasts for awhile then I fall into a deep depression again...Ummm ritalin makes me panicky really when I have no klonopin to even me out. I need to take that off my sig because I no longer take ritalin.....UGH, I liked it at first the the side effects became to muc. Effexor is a strange drug thats for sure. and also, do you know why my depression is waxing and waning? I've tried to lurk and find it but, I can't seem to get what I'm looking for. I would imagen that if the effexor is breaking thru the depression that it would be a sign that it's getting into my system.
jt07
I believe that 37.5 mg is not really a therapeutic dose for most people. It is not surprising that you did not get an effect at that low dose.
deeschmee
Well I have paradoxical reactions to a variety of meds, so 37.5 for me was perfect. As for the waxing and waning, idk but I would call your provider to discuss this with them...Hang in there!
