So I logically want to do certain things like go out to a club, hang with friends, but at best if I go out I get bored and want to just come back home, most the time when I am invited I will tell my friend yes I am coming and then change my mind because I dont think I will enjoy myself which is true, but once I am out I am okay until I get bored and leave early.

I find it hard to work up the motivation to go down the shop to get something to eat or to cook my food or brush my teeth.

One thing I can enjoy is playing an MMO but movies and music I find less and less enjoyable.

My psychologist thinks this is AvPD with PTSD traits.

Now there is a possibility of it being negative symptoms of schizophrenia.

What does it sound like?

No one here can diagnose you. We are not professionals. We are not qualified to make a diagnosis nor do we have all the information that would be needed to do so. It sounds like you've got a pdoc. You should really be asking him/her these questions.

As already stated we can't diagnose. But I can certainly relate to those symptoms. Specifically not enjoying things, not having the motivation to cook (or clean!) or brush my teeth. I wish I knew how to get rid of them, but I just go day-to-day and do the best I can.

Do you have schizophrenia?  I don't see that listed in the laundry list of diagnoses in your signature. Have you ever been psychotic?  You can't have the negative symptoms of schizophrenia with the positive symptoms.

As well you've listed both AvPD and cluster B PD stuff.  I don't know that it's technically possible to have 2 PDs either.

I am very confused about your diagnoses.

Regardless, the things you're describing can very well be part of the diagnoses in your signature, what your psychiatrist has told you, and/or something else completely.  In the end, it doesn't really matter so much except for how it informs your treatment.  You could also just genuinely not enjoy spending a lot of time out with friends without it being pathology.  The symptoms you're describing could be things unrelated to a psych diagnosis at all.  If I were you, I'd spend some time exploring these things with both a therapist and with your psychiatrist.

Dont worry Im more confused than you, they are from different specialists. And I was told 50% of the popular is "Cluster B" I gotta get my Dxs sorted out.

I have been psychotic previously but I have not been diagnosed with schizophrenia but if I dont get well soon they will diagnose me.

i can relate. I always feel like I'll end up bored...even though when I'm sitting home I'm bored anyway. Idk but I have a tough time enjoying things. I can't even think of one thing I actually enjoy doing.

^THIS !

ETA:  Someone told me about something fun they had done, and I thought to myself, "What is fun, and what is fun like?"
