ScrambleHead
That arnt there? Does Schizophrenia manifest itself differently over time or will I have the same positive symptoms if I get a recurrence?
mellifluous
i'm not entirely sure i understand the question are you asking if you develop new symptoms or new features or new themes? if you've never had auditory or visual things before....it's hard to say...maybe not i had the ...seeds, so to speak, at the outset of everything that's followed but things have shifted and expanded in different ways
CookieN
In my case it is different symptoms. The first time it was thoughts to harm others. Years later it was paranoia. Even yesterday i had a new symptom, felt I had the power to produce earthquakes
Parapluie
You may or may not experience a change in symptoms over time. No one can really predict that. I started off hallucinating small things like bugs and sparkles, and it never really got any worse than that (occasionally I see freaky things). My delusions started off as bouts of paranoia and ended up being full blown bizarre delusions. Your illness may evolve over time, or it may remain relatively constant, in terms of symptom presentation.
