CapnP
Good Afternoon ! I have visited this website a few times and it seems like a pretty cool place to hang out and hence my reason for becoming a member. I have been tapering off of Klonoopin for about 9 months and have felt like S&^#! for the last few months. I quit my job a few monthsago and now have too much time on my hands to occupy myself. I beleive that I have ADD and some OCD and possibly some BPD. Nice to join everyone for one big crazy fest ! Patrick
olga
Hi Patrick, and welcome to Crazyboards. I ask all new members to read the rules, which you probably did when you signed up. It helps to give you an idea of how we operate. Have you been working with a psychiatrist? It is tempting to self-diagnose, but you won't get effective treatment without a good medical team. I hope we can offer you some advice and support. olga

Jessamine
I have GAD too. It sucks when you're just anxious about everything.
CapnP
Hi Jessamine, How long have you been taking xanax? The reason that I ask is because some people develope what is called tolerance withdrawal to the medicine and the effects are anxiety, paranoia, and agoraphobia to name a few. I am almost done tapering the klonopin that I have taken for many years because it was actually making me sick instead of helping me. It worked great when I first started taking it, but I started getting all kinds of symptoms I never had before I started taking it. If you have been on the xanax for more than a few months, please read some of the posts on benzobuddies website. It is very possible that you have tolerance withdrawal to the xanax and it is what is making you feel anxious. Take care, patrick
