If you're on Latuda, what else do you take?

Also what are the dosages of Latuda and the other meds?

 

I'm on Latuda 20mg but will be upping it soon. I'm still depressed and know that it is approved for Bipolar depression but not mania, which worries me. I will be asking my pdoc about that as I am only on Propranolol for the akathisia caused by the Latuda and Klonopin for anxiety.

 

I feel like I should not only up the Latuda dose (I think my pdoc will be upping it to 40mg) but also on something else as I am still depressed but also scared of having another hypomanic episode.

I took 80mg latuda with up to 40mg abilify and 800mg of seroquel, 400mg lamictal, 300mg Effexor Xr, 1.5mg klonopin, and trazodone 200mg at the time.

Now my meds are slightly different. I'm no longer on latuda as it did nothing for me. No side effects, but it just didn't work. But many people here love it. My pdoc was planning on taking me off of seroquel and trading it for latuda,but it wasn't doing the trick unfortunately. So I had to go back on a higher dose of seroquel. Oh well.

Yeah I have been on Latuda for about three weeks and I don't know if it's working. I think by now it would be working? Perhaps the dose is too low. If after a month on Latuda at 40mg and no positives, I will inquire about Seroquel, which seems to work for a lot of people.

 

I've always felt it difficult to know if something is working. I mean, if something is working, it should be obvious right?

You can go all the way up to 120mg on latuda. You may want to try an increase as 40mg is a low dose.

I took 40mg of Latuda with 200mg Zoloft, 300mg of Wellbutrin XL, 50mg of Seroquel, 100mg of Topamax, and 40mg of propranolol. Latuda didn't help me at all but I know a lot of people like it.
