queencaffeine27
Today I took my dose of Effexor later than usual (about a four-hour difference). Is it possible to have withdrawal symptoms in such a short time? I feel dizzier and more fatigued than usual, and I am now developing a headache. Whee. Also, is it common to feel dizzy and tired while taking Effexor just in general? Sometimes the dizziness is more like vertigo that makes me feel like I'm moving or falling even though I'm not, and it's usually worse if I don't get enough sleep. CeremonyNewOrder
Yes I have heard that it possible to get withdraw symptoms from taking Effexor at a time different than you normally take it. I personally don't. And yes it can make you tired and dizzy too.
Parapluie
If I take my Effexor more than a couple hours late, I will get a headache too and feel kind of nauseated. I'm not sure about the dizziness. If it's a problem for you, I think you should contact your doctor. In fact, you should probably contact your doctor anyway, just to be safe. crazyguy
Yes without a doubt. Venlafaxine is very strong and has quite a short half-life so it is quite possible to feel withdrawal effects within hours of a missed dose. It is a bitch to come off and some people will have to switch to another SSRI medication just to withdraw from it.
