Catnapper
When I click on the "Quote" or "Multi-quote" buttons, my cursor moves to the reply box, but no quote is there. It doesn't matter if I'm using the quick reply or full reply box, and I can toggle between using icons or not, but nothing seems to work. Please help me figure out what to do about it. Thanks. jt07
What browser do you use? Have you tried other browsers? Try clearing the cache and see if that helps. Edited December 25, 2013 by jt07
Velvet Elvis
Quotes are now WYSIWYG so if you haven't quoted anything in a while clearing your cache might help. Also try using another browser and see what happens.
Catnapper
VE, did your cat walk across your keyboard, or am I supposed to know what WYS... means? I know I'm getting fairly ancient, but WTF?
Guest
What You See Is What You Get - it's a rather old term.
Bam
FWIW, I had the exact same problem. I cleared the cache & history & cookies, and the quotes now seem to be functionally normally
Catnapper
I tried clearing the cache, etc., but no go. Then I noticed my bank website wasn't working, after installing internet explorer 11. I reverted back to explorer 10 and everything works again. Thanks. Velvet Elvis
OK, I'm testing with IE 11 now and can confirm there's a problem. A bug has been reported to Invision.
Catnapper
Thanks, VE. I found out about the IE 10 vs. IE 11 on Google, and apparently there are a lot of issues. It seems as IE 11 is geared towards Windows 8, and I don't plan on changing to 8 anytime soon.
